Science Club

Science Club is a designated Teen Science Cafe. Our monthly meetings focus on 21st-century skill development where Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)  experts collaborate on presentations and hands-on activities which explore science topics in-depth. Cafes generally occur once a month. Teacher sponsors, teen leaders, and Stem experts work together so club members can explore STEM topics through dynamic conversations and hands-on activities at each cafe. We also sponsor two overnight field trips. One to Dauphin Island Sea Lab in the fall and another to Camp McDowell’s Farm School in the spring.

To be a member of the Munford Middle School Science Club, you must maintain an 85 average in Science and conduct yourself in a manner to reflect credit upon your school and community at all times.  You must also have the willingness to work, participate, and volunteer at school and in the community.

Science Club sign-up information will be shared during the first two weeks of school.
