Beginner Band

Beginner Band is a training year for students to develop their instrument skills as much as possible. Lots of class time and practice goes into this process.   Students spend time not only learning the fundamentals of music, but trying out instruments as well. Since playing some musical instruments can be difficult for some people due to physical differences, a try-out process is used for each instrument. Band teaches students how to work together in a group setting. It also enhances creativity and an interest in the arts, improves language development and spatial-temporal skills.
