Middle School Agriscience

Munford Middle School (MMS) is beginning a new adventure with the introduction of an agriscience program. Munford Middle School is situated in a rural area where farming is a significant part of the community's livelihood and identity. In such areas, students are often exposed to agriculture from a young age, either through family involvement or community activities.

Middle school is a crucial time for students to explore various career paths and develop interests and skills. An agriscience class provides an opportunity for students to learn about the diverse career opportunities available in agriculture, such as farming, veterinary science, agronomy, agribusiness, agricultural engineering, and environmental science. By exposing students to these career options early on, they can make more informed decisions about their educational and career paths.
