Our Assistant Principal

Mr. Derrick Wright

 

Dear Munford Community:

It is an honor to be the assistant principal of Munford Middle School. I’m looking forward to an amazing school year! My wife, Heather, and I are both educators, and we have an amazing little girl, Caroline. Over the years, I was the chemistry teacher at Munford High where I could usually be found doing an experiment or conducting a STEAM activity with my students. During the 21/22 school year, I was the digital learning specialist at Childersburg High. 

I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a bachelor’s degree in general science. In 2018, I received my masters degree in administration for the University of Alabama. 

At MMS, our goal is for every student to receive the best education and experiences throughout their middle school experience.
